Project Description

Collaborating with the exquisite Noosa Valley Manor this event celebrated Botanical Plant Colour through Taste, Touch and Site. We enjoyed a morning learning the art of dyeing, and connecting to the higher energy of the plants, and then using botanical colours we created our own unique silk pouches. This was combined with a deliciously colourful Botanic Inspired High Tea of 6 courses. Set in the lush tropical gardens on the Manor.
This event was presented as part of the Sunshine Coast Council “The fabric – Slow Fashion, Artful Living” program and was supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund and council’s Living Smart program. #fabric2019 #healthysmartcreative
